Look, that you don't like DiCaprio, why not? Who says which actor you should like ?

Where I don't agree is that you assume what is difficult or easy for an actor to portray a mentally retarted person. I mean, I'm not actor, I wouldn't know what easy or difficult to act. Are you a professional actor?

Finally, I may not have a clue about acting but I'm have some knowledge about handicapped people. You see, my step-son is autist and I have been living with him for 6 years now, so I know what I'm talking about. Do you have any knowledge about mentally retarted or handicapped people? I can tell you from experience that many actors are not that great at all when giving such perfomances and some are very good. There is a big difference between IMITATING a mentally retarted of BEING a mentally retarted. It's all about the details, body language, speech and it is not easy at all. If you think it's so easy, make your own short movie, play a mentally retarted, put it on your youtube and I'll the judge of that, fair enough?
